   Submit NNAS application

   Milestone

   National Nursing Assessment Service evaluates your education and experience.

   Choose a province

   Pick the province where you intend to register. Rules vary; we compare them.

   1 weeksWeek 15 – 15
3. 3

   Apply to provincial regulator

   Regulator (e.g. CNO, BCCNM, CRNM, OIIQ for Quebec) reviews your NNAS report.

   8 weeksWeek 16 – 23
4. 4

   Language proficiency

   IELTS or CELPIP for anglophone provinces; TEF/TCF for Quebec (French).

   10 weeksWeek 24 – 33
5. 5

   Pass NCLEX-RN

   Milestone

   All Canadian RN jurisdictions use NCLEX-RN.

   12 weeksWeek 30 – 41⇄ Runs in parallel

   Jurisprudence exam

   Province-specific legal/ethical exam.

   Registration + work permit
