VisaScreen is a CGFNS product. It bundles credential evaluation, English proficiency confirmation, and a comparison of your training to US RN standards into a certificate that USCIS accepts as evidence for most healthcare work-visa categories (EB-3 nurse green card, certain H-1B-dependent paths).
NCLEX is the licensing exam, run by NCSBN through Pearson VUE. Passing NCLEX gets you a state licence to practise; it does not get you the visa.
To work in the US as a foreign-trained nurse you typically need: state RN licence (after NCLEX) + VisaScreen certificate + employer-sponsored work visa. The three run partially in parallel — start VisaScreen early because it can take 3 – 6 months to issue.
A nurse can pass NCLEX and have a state licence yet still wait on VisaScreen before they can legally start work.
