How much does Gulf Prometric cost in total from Africa?

Plan USD 600 – 1,300 across DataFlow, regulator portal fees, the Prometric exam, and a question bank. Travel + employer-side costs are separate.

The answer

A realistic itemised budget for a Gulf nursing licence (Saudi, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, MoHAP federal):

- DataFlow report: USD 170 – 250 (per authority) - Regulator portal application + classification fee: USD 120 – 300 - Prometric exam fee: USD 230 – 280 - Authority-specific question bank: USD 50 – 300 (Plab Masters, HSP Academy, etc.) - Document courier + translations: USD 50 – 200 - Possible retake fee: same as exam fee, plus a waiting period

That's USD 620 – 1,330 before any travel, visa, or accommodation costs. Most candidates underestimate translations and the question bank.

If the employer sponsors your licensing (some Gulf hospitals do), confirm it in writing — and confirm whether it's a refundable advance or a true gift. Some employers ask you to repay the fees if you leave within 12 months.

If that was confusing, here it is in plain English

Plan around USD 1,000 just for the regulator + exam. Then there's travel, translations, and (sometimes) a retake.
