The answer
CGFNS issues its CES Professional Report after every required document has been received from the issuing source. For African candidates the timing is dominated by school responsiveness, not by CGFNS.
Realistic stages: 1 – 2 weeks to open your CGFNS account, pay, and submit transcript + licence-verification requests to your school and nursing council. 1 – 4 weeks for those bodies to actually mail the sealed envelopes. 1 – 3 weeks for arrival via DHL / FedEx / Aramex. 6 – 12 weeks for CGFNS to evaluate once everything is logged.
January and September are CGFNS's slowest months due to volume. If you have a deadline, avoid those windows.
Practical tip: hand-deliver a printed CGFNS request to your nursing school's registrar with a clear receipt. Phone calls every 7 – 10 days during the dispatch window cut weeks off the timeline.
If that was confusing, here it is in plain English
About 3 months total. Most of that is your school being slow, not CGFNS.
