The answer
For RN registration in most Canadian provinces (Ontario, BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Atlantic provinces), NCLEX-RN is the licensing exam. Pearson VUE runs delivery internationally, including in many African cities.
Quebec uses OIIQ's own examen professionnel, which is a French-language exam administered by OIIQ — it is not NCLEX.
LPN / RPN scope is different again — Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and a few others use the REx-PN (Regulatory Exam – Practical Nurse). Don't assume NCLEX covers LPN.
Outcome of NNAS often affects the path. Candidates with a "Comparable" advisory go straight to NCLEX in many provinces; "Somewhat Comparable" reports often trigger a bridging programme or assessment-based learning.

Most provinces use NCLEX. Quebec uses its own French exam. LPN nurses use a different exam called REx-PN.
